Erica Peachey is a Consultant in Animal Behaviour, based in West Kirby.

Carri Westgarth is her Associate.

Erica has written several booklets and books which have sold world wide. She is regularly contacted by the media and is also often involved in court cases where animals are the centre of the controversy. Carri presents her research at international conferences and both Carri and Erica have published scientific papers.

Both Erica and Carri are Visiting Lecturers in Animal Behaviour at Liverpool John Moores University.

Behaviour Consultations

Both Erica and Carri are Full Members of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and serve on their committee.
The APBC is a network of specialist counsellors to whom veterinarians can confidently refer clients. Members of the APBC have to have the highest professional standards, knowledge and expertise, and undergo a rigorous selection procedure.

All behaviour problems are seen on veterinary referral only and close contact is maintained with your Veterinary Surgeon. Consultations last approximately two hours and are usually in your home.

Dog and Puppy Training

Training classes for pet dogs are held at Melrose Hall, Hoylake. We aim to teach owners and dogs to have a better understanding of each other, to avoid problems and to teach response to basic commands. The Good Puppy Course and The Good Dog Course are unique to us and we use reward-based methods.. These classes are based on the theory that prevention is not only better than cure, it is more fun as well.
